Grass Cutting

Lutterworth Town Council is aware of the unacceptable appearance of Lutterworth's grass verges over the past months and apologise for this.

Some facts:

  • After a cold Spring there was a surge of rapid growth in May
  • Leicestershire County Council Highways pay us for 6 cuts a year which the Town Council enhanced to 10 cuts a year

We couldn't have asked for better weather to hold this year's Christmas Lights Switch-On event. It was a gloriously sunny and sharp winter's day and we were overwhelmed by the sheer number of you who came out to enjoy the festivities.

Town Council Grants

The Town Council have awarded Cross Counties Radio a grant of £500. The grant was used to pay for two laptops which will be used at the Sir Frank Whittle School where the radio station is located. Any Lutterworth community group can apply for funding. Please contact the Town Council for further information
