Stall bookings are now open for the Picnic in the Park 2022!!

This year, HM The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.
Lutterworth Town Council are planning to celebrate this momentous occasion with a Beacon Lighting on the evening of Thursday 2nd June and a Picnic in the Park style event on Sunday 5th June. Exact details and timings will follow in due course.

Lutterworth Town Council have enlisted the assistance of a local contractor who has spent time and money renovating the White Horses on Regent Court embankment. A lot of hard work has gone into the preparation and refurbishment of the White Horses and within the last 24 hours, one of the refurbished horses has been defaced by mindless vandals. Lutterworth Town Council have spent a lot of time recently renovating and refurbishing the War Memorial gardens in the town centre. In particular, a lot of hard work has gone into the refurbishment of the benches and as an addition, new benches have also been purchased.

It is with deep sorrow that Lutterworth Town Council has learnt of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family at this very sad time.

Lutterworth Town Council have seen reports on social media recently and can confirm that there are currently 59 cases of confirmed Covid-19 in the Lutterworth area. When compared with other areas within the Harborough District, on a pro rata basis, Lutterworth has the third highest incidence of infection (updated Monday 11th January).
